To answer this question, I would like to share something personal with you about my trips.š Each country I visited, each city I stayed in, changed something in me! I believe the purpose of travelling is to grow as a person by having new perspectives and new ways to see the world.
There were some big changes in my life while visiting some countries or cities, like the time I visited China š, or the time I visited the beautiful city of Istanbul š as my first solo trip, there is also that moment for the first time i put a step in Amsterdam!
Today, I would like to share with you, how visiting Amsterdam was an eye opening to many things around me, things that I used to see from a special angle that I can see now from another angle.
Before visiting Amsterdam, like many of you I guess, I always saw this city as a beautiful and magical city but also as the sin city, where you go to meet the devil or Lucifer or whatever you like to call your own demons, a place where you can only spend your days and nights between drogues and all kinds of alcohol, like an actor in The Hangover movie š, a place where the main attraction is the Red Light Districtā¦..But something different happened with me.
The first time I visited Amsterdam. I remember, I had a special feeling, something I never experienced before, I felt that at that moment, at that city, like people around me, I was for the first time in my life , Free , Free from social hypocrisy in a place where everybody is proud to be himself , where there is no judgment towards you, where you are not only understood but also accepted as a human for who you are... In Amsterdam you can support Drugs and Prostitution or be against it, nobody cares, everybody was friendly and having a great vibes, starting from the locals that taught me the values of people from the Netherlands and the tourists I met in my hostels.
In other words Amsterdam changes my perception of life of everā¦..šā How about you, do you agree that travelling can change you? #amsterdam#travelblogger
